Oscar Inspiration!!

Well like most people tonight I have been caught up in the excitement and fashion feast that is the Academy Awards. My favorite look of the night? Mandy Moore's GORGEOUS cerulean blue Monique Lhuillier gown! The sweetheart neckline and full flower covered ballroom skirt was every little girl's princess fantasy come true. She paired her ethereal
princess gown with a simple sidesweep with a simple jeweled comb and pulled of the perfect princess chic for her performance with fellow Tangled star Zachary Levi!
This cerulean blue wonder reminded me of the new Emilio Pucci Spring 2011 collection that is all about the cool blues and a greek revival feel! Some of my favorites??

This dress is the epitome of the new spring trends that we are going to be seeing a lot of this season. The high-lo hemline is fun and flirty while also being sophisticated and formal, while the airy chiffon gives a full, energetic and light feel to what is soon going to be a hot style in the coming years. As well as its deep blue and black pattern giving that oceanic beachy vibe.

And here we have yet another high-lo hemline that is accentuated by a
sleek black pleated chiffon and black stone detailing on the empire waistline.
Emilio's twist on the gladiator heel sandal is true greek revival with its thin leather straps and circular hardware, these sandals are sure to be the "it" style of sandals to be worn this summer in flats and you can bet that this shoe girl will be rocking a similar (and less expensive) pair!

And thus another Oscar night full of amazing gowns has come to pass and more and more inspiration has walked the red carpet runways.

Oh how I LOOOVE Shoes!

So today ended up being a shoe obsessed internet scour!! As per usual I had no particular problem finding shoes that I adored though I am beginning to see that I love love love platform heels more and more especially if there is some sort of contrast detailing on the heel...

No big surprise I am in love with a nude colored pump with a patent black heel and
punch hole detailing! Found this gorgeous shoe, called the Bevv-B from one of my favorite, affordable, shoe men Steve Madden.

As per usual Mr. Madden does not fail to deliver me many, many options on a new obsession, hence this other beauty I found!

This shoe is called the Lisette!

A bit more of a dressy sandal, than a pump, but I am in complete adoration of
the contrasting black lace detailing all over the back and heel of this champagne satin work of art! Speaking of art my shoe-venture of the day sent me on an awesome journey in to some rather unique, elegant and even avant garde art shoes and the awesome repertoires of the designers who brought some amazing shoe visions to life!

Mai Lamore is by far my favorite I found! this amazing shoe visionary London-based Parisian has been a renowned name in Europe for years and is now on the top of my LOVE list for amazing shoe designers!
Her shoes have graced the feet of Rhianna and says "A shoe, more than any other clothing item, is an object that already exists before even being worn; shoes do not generally fold
up or fall lifeless as most clothing items do when not worn. This 'object' quality has a certain mystery to it, akin to a sculpture with a life of its own. A high luxury shoe should look as stunning on the foot as it would in a vitrine."

Stay true to you and be yourself!

Until next time!

Here We GO!

Goal: post pictures of fashions and objects that inspire me and also some of my own designs for my future line Love, Annemarie Krystine.
Since my discovery of my love for shoes and fashion in the 5th grade, I have spent the last 14 years of my life in awe and drooling after the amazingness and perfection of the pieces of art for your feet that one Christian Louboutin has continued to create since 1982. Lately I have been designing and thinking about wedding attire and stumbled upon this BEAUTIFUL shoe by Mr. Louboutin and automatically found my future something blue!!
Along with this amazing shoe I found some strange yet wonderful, inspiration from a very unique bird and its brightly colored twin. Pretty much forever I have been obsessed with and in LOVE with peacocks and their gorgeous rainbow plumes and the incandescent confidence that anyone who wears peacock feathers automatically has! I love the cool combination of the bright blues and greens with brown neutrals and sparks of purple and yellow. The calming and soft white peacock gives a subtle yet unexpectedly, almost sexy innocence to any type of clothing and the shape of its tail plumage makes for great inspiration on the shape of a gown and the type of flow that one could imagine in a wedding dress! And voilé you get THIS!
